I am proud to have served 18 years and 11 months in the Colorado Army National Guard, with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Even while deployed overseas, I remained fully engaged in my duties as a school board director (2018–2023), faithfully serving the Englewood community from abroad.
During my term on the Englewood School Board, I:
Beyond my public service, I am a husband of 22 years and father of four amazing boys. My family is neurodiverse, which gives me a personal understanding of the challenges and opportunities within education, particularly around supporting students with unique needs.
I also hold a B.A. in Business Leadership, which complements my experience as a small business owner, where I’ve built a company around creativity, service, and accountability.
These experiences—military, family, business, and public service—have shaped me into a leader who understands vision and responsibility.
